Sample report
This is what you get. A real audit, name removed.
This is a de-identified excerpt from an actual Full Audit of an online retailer with six physical stores and roughly 3,500 products. The findings, scores and priority order are real. The business name, its brands, its domain, the competitors and the directories it was measured against have all been replaced with placeholders.
Visibility readiness: needs work, real foundations already in place
"Six real stores read as five or six unrelated ones online, and it is costing the map pack and ChatGPT."
Sample findings: 4 of 30
One business, six unlinked identities
Fix first- What's wrong
- Each of the six stores runs its own separate domain, has no page on the main site, and nothing links them together in a way machines can read.
- Why it matters
- AI assistants and Google have to guess whether this is one business or six, and live testing showed they guess wrong most of the time. ChatGPT listed three of the stores as unrelated companies.
- Recommended fix
- Build one page per store with name, address, phone and hours, add each store's details to the site code, and point the old store websites at the new pages.
Product data names the wrong brand
Fix first- What's wrong
- The hidden code on every product page listed the wholesale supplier as the brand, not the brand shoppers actually search for.
- Why it matters
- Roughly 3,500 products asserted the wrong maker to Google, Google Shopping and AI shopping assistants.
- Recommended fix
- Put the real brand name into each product's code. A developer can template this in an afternoon.
1,226 category pages carry no text at all
High- What's wrong
- Every brand and category page checked had a bare title, no description and nothing beyond the product grid.
- Why it matters
- These are the pages built to win searches, yet on one brand term with almost no competition the site still ranked 71st. There is nothing on the page for a search engine or an AI answer to quote.
- Recommended fix
- Template a short, specific description onto every category page, starting with the highest-traffic brand terms.
169 pages Google was never told about
High- What's wrong
- Our own scan found 169 live pages missing from the list of pages the site reports to Google, and some of them already rank.
- Why it matters
- Google finds these pages by luck, not by design. Nobody is managing whether they show up in search.
- Recommended fix
- Add the valuable ones to the site's page list for Google, with real content on them, and tidy away the rest.
The AI answer behind those numbers
Real ChatGPT answer · August 2026
"same day pet food delivery near me"
"[Competitor]: best bet for speed. Same-day delivery across the city, generally free over $39, with a 2pm cutoff. [The business]: same-day delivery, free over $69.99, order before 12pm."
One of only 2 mentions across 15 questions. ChatGPT also listed three of the business's own stores as unrelated companies. The owner had no idea.
